I don’t have a
Marvelous Middle Grade Monday review for you today. Instead, I thought I’d
highlight a few favourite middle grade novels from my 100 book reading
challenge this year. It was hard to narrow it down, because I've read so many
great middle grade books!
The False Prince by Jennifer Nielsen - I loved the main character's voice and the plot twists. This was a fun read.
See You at Harry's by Jo Knowles - An emotional story that was hard to put down. I recently featured this one here.
The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate - I loved the poetic language and writing style that fit so well with the gorilla narrator. You can read my thoughts here.

Mine was definitely The False Prince. If you can be in love with a book, I'm in love with that one. Great idea to list your favorites. I've read and enjoyed some of them.

My 13 year old loved the Unwanteds and the sequel.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great list! A couple of my favorites from 2012 were A Diamond in the Desert by Kathryn Fitzmaurice and Tracing Stars by Erin E. Moulton.
